Shayla & Matt

Shayla and Matt celebrated their love surrounded by immediate family members in their backyard on June 15 2024.

This day was nothing but intimate and perfection. Shayla and Matt are expecting a little girl in September which lead to the decision to post pone their big wedding and continue on with the ceremony before their baby girl arrives. This union was important to them.

July 15th was a bright sunny day; not a cloud in the sky.

They shared their written vows witnessed by their parents, grand-parents, siblings, nephew & their fur baby. The box of kleenex was passed around and everyone shared so many hugs and feelings of excitement to welcome these two into eachother's families. The ceremony was followed by an afternoon lunch to celebrate.

Shayla and Matt have been two special people in my life so it was truly an honor to photograph this intimate backyard ceremony for them. I am over the moon happy to witness my best friend of over 20 years grow to find her forever love & grow a little human that we can welcome in our friend group soon.
